HKCNSA Visits Jiangsu Internet Association to Explore New Opportunities for Cooperation

On January 13, 2026, led by founding chairman Mr. David Ip, the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) visited the Jiangsu Internet Association for an exchange meeting. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Chen Xiachu, Executive Vice President of the Jiangsu Internet Association, Mr. Liu Xiangsheng, Vice President, and the Secretariat team. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as cybersecurity cooperation, talent development, event collaboration, and industry connectivity.

During the meeting, the Jiangsu Internet Association introduced its overall profile as a 5A-level social organization in Jiangsu Province. Upholding the principle of “Serving the Government, Serving the Industry, Serving Enterprises,” the association has established multiple working committees covering technology, industry, and application fields, forming a comprehensive service structure for the sector. It organizes more than 200 events annually, providing strong support for the development of Jiangsu’s internet ecosystem.

HKCNSA shared its key initiatives and development since its establishment in 2023. The association has focused on issues such as policy compliance, data privacy, and critical infrastructure, continuously hosting cybersecurity forums, specialized workshops, and industry exchange activities—over 100 events each year. These cover technical sharing, regulatory interpretation, and practical discussions, aiming to foster industry communication and promote cross-sector collaboration.

Both parties agreed that the integration of cybersecurity and the internet industry is a vital topic in the digital economy era. Future cooperation could be strengthened in areas such as talent development, event collaboration, and industry connectivity. HKCNSA also expressed its intention to leverage Hong Kong’s position as an international hub to support mainland enterprises in expanding globally.

This exchange deepened mutual trust and understanding between the two associations and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. Both sides stated that they would take this meeting as an opportunity to continue exploring new models of cooperation and jointly promote the high-quality development of the cybersecurity industry.
