HKCNSA Participates in the 3rd InnoEX, Advancing Tech Innovations and Cybersecurity

On April 13-16, 2025, the third edition of InnoEX, co-organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), and supported by the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA), was successfully held. As a leading event in Asia's technology innovation landscape, this year's expo, themed "Innovate, Automate, Elevate," focused on low-altitude economy, smart mobility, AI, robotics, and cybersecurity, showcasing intelligent solutions to address industry challenges and unlock new business opportunities.

The 3rd InnoEX featured four thematic days for the first time, providing a professional and diverse platform for exchange among participants. April 13 focused on the low-altitude and technology economy, April 14 and 15 covered artificial intelligence, robotics technology, and cybersecurity, and April 16 targeted SME solutions. Each thematic day included forums, seminars, and other enriching activities. On the morning of April 15, HKCNSA was invited to participate in a panel discussion titled "The challenges that cyber insurance poses for both insurers and policyholders—and how to resolve them."

Mr. Wilson Tang, Vice Chairman of HKCNSA, served as the moderator, while Mr. Willis Yung, Deputy Director of the Financial Services Cybersecurity Committee; Mr. Vincent Ng, member of the Data Privacy Committee; Mr. Jeff Liu, Senior Solution Specialist at Ricoh; and Mr. George Wong, Business Development Director at Blackpanda, participated as guest speakers. They delved into these challenges in depth and discuss practical solutions to enhance the effectiveness of cyber insurance, ensuring better protection and smoother processes for all parties involved. This discussion offered valuable perspectives and practical strategies for advancing cybersecurity insurance.

The 3rd InnoEX fostered collaboration and innovation in the technology sector, advancing the use of new technologies. The forums and seminars provided valuable insights and practical experience, serving as a key platform for industry exchange. Looking ahead, HKCNSA will actively participate in international exchange and cooperation, promoting innovation and development in cybersecurity technology.
