On January 21, 2025, the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) was invited to visit United Christian College (Kowloon East) ( UCCKE) to engage with students from the school and Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong on the latest trends and career prospects in the cybersecurity industry. Mr. David Ip, Founding Chairman of the HKCNSA, along with Mr. Eric Chan, Director of the Association’s Youth Committee and Mr. Ken Chung, Senior Technology Consultant , attended the event.

Since its establishment in Hong Kong in 2001, Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong has been dedicated to inspiring and nurturing young talent, laying a solid foundation for their success on the global economic stage. With the strong support of over 32,000 business volunteers, JA Hong Kong has benefited more than 600 schools and over 480,000 students.
The event began with students participating in career exploration and subject-related games, which not only made learning enjoyable but also provided an initial understanding of the role of an information security analyst. During the subsequent in-depth interview session, students actively asked questions about data security issues encountered in daily life, exploring new perspectives and practical implications of data security handling.

Mr. Eric Chan and Mr. Ken Chung from the association shared in-depth insights into the cybersecurity industry. They detailed the latest industry trends, development prospects, and future outlook, while vividly illustrating the critical role of cybersecurity technology in corporate defense systems through real-life cases. This enhanced students' understanding and awareness of the cybersecurity industry.
This exchange activity deepened students' understanding of the cybersecurity industry and opened new avenues for their future career planning. In the future, the HKCNSA will continue to strengthen cooperation with schools and organize more similar educational sharing activities to contribute to the cultivation of more cybersecurity talents.
