On 11 February 2026, a delegation from the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA), led by Founding Chairman David Ip, together with the Vice President and committee members, visited Hongkong Post for an exchange meeting. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Ms. Josephine Cheng, Director of Information Systems Services and Acting Assistant Postmaster General, along with her team. The visit aimed to deepen understanding of cybersecurity practices within public service organisations and explore opportunities for closer partnership.

During the exchange, both sides engaged in constructive discussions covering cybersecurity governance, institutional experience sharing, and strategies to address increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. The HKCNSA team shared cross‑sector insights on security frameworks, operational practices, and collaborative models, fostering dialogue on how organisations can uplift their overall security capabilities.
As a key public service institution, Hongkong Post has in recent years actively advanced its digital transformation agenda. Its “Smart Post” iPostal Station initiative offers a 24‑hour self‑service posting experience empowered by 3D scanning technology for automatic measurement of parcel dimensions and weight. These efforts exemplify how public services can enhance operational efficiency while maintaining robust information security standards.
HKCNSA expresses its sincere appreciation to Hongkong Post for the warm reception and valuable exchange. The Association looks forward to further collaboration with both public and private stakeholders to strengthen Hong Kong’s cybersecurity posture.
