HKCNSA supported Palo Alto Networks Ignite On Tour HK 2024 to build digital cybersecurity

On March 13, Ignite On Tour HK 2024, hosted by Palo Alto Networks, a corporate member of the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA), was successfully held at the Marriott Hotel. This event brought together cybersecurity elites from all walks of life to share the latest innovative technologies and use strategies. Help organizations better understand new trends in cybersecurity to improve cybersecurity protection capabilities. HKCNSA served as the supporting organization of the event, led by chairman Mr. David Ip, and several HKCNSA representatives attended the event, to discuss how artificial intelligence can help organizations defend against cyber threats.



Before the event commenced, Mr. Wickie Fung, Managing Director of Palo Alto Networks in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area, delivered a welcome speech. He shared insights on how the latest AI technologies and platforms are transforming the cybersecurity landscape by integrating various security tools and resources to provide comprehensive and reliable security protection, enabling enterprises to timely detect and respond to various cyber threats with increased accuracy.

During the event, Mr. Raymond Lam, Chief Superintendent of Police Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau Hong Kong Police Force, served as the keynote speaker. Mr. Lam shared his views and expertise on trends in technical crime, providing important guidance and insights, to attendees on understanding and addressing the reality of technical crime.

Mr. Daniel Ho, individual member of HKCNSA and Vice President, Advanced Solutions and Services Macroview Telecom at HGC group company, delivered a speech. He shared how to use effective strategies and integrated platforms to build adaptive SOCs, combined with artificial intelligence technology, can achieve instant monitoring, early warning and rapid response to cyber threats, further strengthening the organization's cybersecurity protection capabilities.

During the panel discussion, Mr. Dicky Wong, Vice President of HKCNSA, and other industry experts had an in-depth discussion on "The Current State of AI And Future Trends". They shared their experiences and insights in the field of artificial intelligence and discussed how to better utilize AI technology to enhance network security protection capabilities, ensuring the safety and stability of the network environment. Through exchanges and discussions, participants deepened their understanding of the application of artificial intelligence in the field of cybersecurity, facilitating organizations to better leverage AI technology to enhance cybersecurity protection capabilities.

Furthermore, Mr. Kok Tin Gan, individual member of HKCNSA and Partner of Cybersecurity and Privacy at PwC Hong Kong, shared a keynote speech on the Digital Transformation Journey, Cloud Journey, Working Anywhere, leading the discussion on the important role of digital transformation and cloud computing in the future development, further learning and exploring how to effectively apply digital transformation and cloud computing technologies. To adapt to the rapidly changing business environment. Mr. Morris Ng, Senior Systems Engineer of corporate member of HKCNSA, shared on behalf of Veeam the promise of AI for data management, through AI technology, organizations can more accurately insight into market trends, optimize business processes, and improve decision-making efficiency to achieve rapid business development and innovation.
