HKCNSA participated in the Alibaba Cloud Summit Hong Kong, joining hands to build a digital future

On November 29th, the Alibaba Cloud Summit Hong Kong 2023 was successfully held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The event covered various fields including public affairs, finance, retail, and Web3, attracting government representatives, business leaders, and technical experts from different industries. The Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) is headed by Mr. David Ip,along with Mr. Kok Lim Chan, the Director of the International Cybersecurity Affairs Committee, and Mr. Jeffrey Teh from the Event and Planning Development Department. They discussed the latest trends in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, business innovation, and technological applications with cybersecurity industry experts.

At the beginning of the event, Mr. Leo Liu, the General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Hong Kong, delivered a welcome speech. He stated that with the acceleration of digitization, cybersecurity is facing increasing challenges and threats. This summit aims to explore the latest trends in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other technologies with industry experts. Through this event, participants hope to gain a deeper understanding of cutting-edge technologies and application cases, and collectively build a secure, intelligent, and sustainable digital future.

During the event, Ms. Sarah Ye, Co-founder of RigSec (Hong Kong) Technology Limited, and other expert panels discussed the opportunities of licensed Virtual Asset Trading Platforms (VATP) and delved into the development prospects and potential opportunities in this field. They expressed that licensed VATP, as a new type of financial service model, will bring more convenience and innovation to traditional financial businesses, while providing more cooperation opportunities and development space for fintech companies and other related institutions. Furthermore, financial institutions also need to continuously strengthen their risk management capabilities to cope with increasingly complex financial risks and challenges.
