HKCNSA attended the Cyber Security Professional Awards 2023 to witness the achievements of the cybersecurity industry

On February 29, the Cyber Security Professional Awards 2023, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Police Force, the Government Computer Emergency Response Team Hong Kong (GovCERT.HK) and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT), was successfully held at the HKJC Auditorium of the Hong Kong Palace Museum to bring together cybersecurity experts from various industries to collectively address cybersecurity threats. The event aimed to recognize the outstanding achievements and professional skills of cybersecurity personnel from different sectors. The Hong Kong China Network Association (HKCNSA) served as a supporting organization for this event, led by Mr. David Ip, the founding chairman of the HKCNSA, with several committee members and individual members attending the award ceremony, to share experiences with cybersecurity experts from various fields and witness their outstanding achievements and contributions in the field of cybersecurity.

Since its first edition in 2016, the Cyber Security Professional Awards 2023 has become a landmark cybersecurity professional award in Hong Kong, welcoming cybersecurity personnel from all industries to participate. The program aims to commend cybersecurity professionals for their outstanding performance, innovative thinking, and leadership in the field, including establishing and implementing innovative cybersecurity policies, managing network threat risks, identifying and handling cybersecurity incidents, and enhancing staff awareness of cybersecurity. Through this award ceremony, the exchange of cybersecurity experiences and best practices across industries is promoted, encouraging cybersecurity personnel to continuously enhance their skills and knowledge, as well as advocating for increased investment, innovation, and leadership in cybersecurity within enterprises to drive ongoing industry progress.
