The cybersecurity and network security field actively responds to election calls

Dear members of the Hong Kong China Network Security Association and voters,

The 8^th Hong Kong Legislative Council Election period has already started. The Chief Executive mentioned at the election kick-off that this represents a major milestone in Hong Kong’s journey from governance to prosperity, relating to the city’s socioeconomic development.

This election is the vital key to honouring the policy of ‘Patriots governing Hong Kong’. As the industry representative and leader, the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA) fully supports a fair, just and diligent election, pledging our commitment to enhancing the socioeconomic development of Hong Kong.

By actively electing experts from the cybersecurity field, governance policies and regulations can become more transparent, thereby facilitating government-corporate partnership, allowing our voices to be heard in LegCo. Thus, more rising talent will join our mission of securing and developing network security technology, expanding our influence as pioneers of cybersecurity, and hence promoting research investment in Hong Kong and China.

We urge cybersecurity and network security professionals to elect themselves, and voters to eagerly vote on December 17, 2025, so we can forward our industry opinions into the decision-making platforms, letting our professional insight become a critical force in promoting Hong Kong’s development!  We also encourage all cybersecurity companies to actively fulfill your social responsibilities, providing flexible work schedules for your employees, so they can also fulfill their civic responsibilities.
