China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited joins HKCNSA as a Corporate Member

On May 23, 2025, China Mobile Hong Kong Company Limited (CMHK) has officially become a corporate member of Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA). CMHK is a subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., and is the largest mobile service provider in Hong Kong with leading profitability in telecommunications and information services.

In 2008, CMHK launched the "One Card, Two Numbers" service, pioneering a cross-border data-sharing plan between mainland China and Hong Kong. In 2014, it was the first to launch 4G roaming services in mainland China, and in 2020, it became the first operator in Hong Kong to offer commercial 5G services. In recent years, CMHK has been accelerating the coverage of its self-built fixed network, continuously enhancing network infrastructure, introducing new products and technologies, and gradually developing into an information service technology innovation company with leading network capabilities.

Mr. David Ip, Founding Chairman of HKCNSA, welcomed CMHK’s membership. He states that it is a great honor to have CMHK as a member of the association. As a leading telecommunications service provider in Hong Kong, we believe this collaboration will further promote technological exchange, bring abundant resources and innovative solutions to the association, ultimately enhancing the development of digital security and cyber resilience together.

With their pioneered 5G technology, cloud solutions, and intelligent network security services, we aim to collaboratively facilitate digital transformation and promote stable and sustainable development of the global network environment.
