ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited Officially Joins HKCNSA as a Corporate Member

On 10 June 2025, ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong) Limited (ALBA IWS) officially joined the HKCNSA as a corporate member. ALBA IWS is a joint venture between the ALBA Group Asia and the Integrated Waste Solutions Group Holdings Limited (IWS). With over 50 years of heritage in Germany and more than two decades of recycling operations across Asia, ALBA IWS combines global expertise with local commitment through its Hong Kong-based Integrated Waste Solutions Group, specializing in solid waste management including confidential material destruction, paper recycling, plastic regeneration, waste collection and logistics services.

ALBA IWS serves as the Hong Kong SAR Government's partner in designing, building and operating WEEE·PARK, providing free collection services for regulated electrical and electronic equipment ("WEEE") with professional detoxification, dismantling and resource recovery at the facility. Established in 2017 through a joint venture between Germany's ALBA Group (with 50+ years of expertise) and Hong Kong's Integrated Waste Solutions Group, the company delivers efficient e-waste recycling services to households, businesses and institutions across Hong Kong. The company actively promotes public education and community engagement through facility tours, repair and donate initiatives and other programs, realizing its "Waste to Resources" vision while collaborating with stakeholders to build a sustainable, zero-e-waste future for Hong Kong.

Mr. David Ip, Founding Chairman of HKCNSA, extended a warm welcome to ALBA IWS’ membership. He mentioned, “We are delighted to welcome our ALBA IWS to the Association. With its longstanding commitment to 'Waste to Resources' and sustainable development, ALBA IWS’ practical experience in information processing, data security, and environmental technology will bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our efforts in advancing green cybersecurity and cross-sector collaboration."
Moving forward, HKCNSA and ALBA IWS will leverage the company’s hands-on experience in resource circulation and information management to explore integrated applications of green technology and digital security. The two parties will jointly drive industry standard development, technical knowledge sharing, and cross-disciplinary cooperation, ultimately strengthening ecosystem resilience and sustainability while injecting new momentum into regional digital transformation.
